Food Allergies Can Affect Mood, Focus & Sleep!

Insomnia & Food Allergies

Insomnia is the inability to sleep at a time when sleep should normally occur.  Sleep is a necessity to everyone. The average person needs 8 hours of sleep each night.  People with insomnia may have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep.

Insomnia can be a symptom of an underlying problem like food allergies.  Food allergies can cause nervous system distress that can lead to insomnia.  If a person is “reacting” to food eaten during the day, they may feel anxious or wired at night which can prevent them from being able to relax and fall asleep. When problem foods are eliminated from the diet the nervous system calms down and sleep is easier to obtain. Sometimes insomnia is caused by night time breathing difficulties. By getting our food allergy test and then eliminating the problem food, breathing can improve, which means a better nights sleep.  A food allergy test should be considered if you have trouble sleeping.

Learning which food(s) your body may be reacting too can make the difference between a good night’s sleep and a restless night!

Certain foods can release histamine in the brain which disrupts the biochemistry of the brain. This can affect thinking, mood, sleep and more!

Attention Deficit Syndrome, Focus Problems & Food Allergies

An adult or child with symptoms of attention deficit (ADD, ADHD) or hyperactivity may be “reacting” to the food they are eating. By simply eliminating the problem food, you can experience better focus, improved behavior and less hyperactivity! Parents, you may have a terrific day with the kids and then experience a very difficult day the next. By simply removing the food your child is “reacting” too, you can have easier, happier days and so will your child’s teacher. If your or your child always seems to have “brain fog”, by removing the food causing the “brain fog” thinking can become clearer.

Food Allergies can cause anxiety, stress & even a bad mood.

Food can disrupt the nervous system which can lead to nervous system imbalance. Certain people are simply “Food Sensitive”. They can have a variety of symptoms like tension, nervousness, twitching or panic attacks.  One day you may have calm easy day, and then the next day you may be highly symptomatic. By getting our “delayed” food allergy test, you can learn which food caused this change and may be contributing to your symptoms.

Food Allergies & Chronic Fatigue

If you wake up tired and stay tired during the day, “delayed” food allergy testing should be considered. If you are eating food that your body is having trouble absorbing it can make you feel tired. It is easy to learn which foods are causing the fatigue, and then you simply eliminate them and your energy returns. Yes, you can increase your energy by not eating foods you are allergic too!

Food allergies can cause symptoms of insomnia, trouble falling asleep, attention deficit, adhd, hyperactivity, brain fog, anxiety, and chronic fatigue.
