Food Allergies and the Immune System

Sinusitis, Mucous and Congestion and Food Allergies

Sinusitis is an inflammation, or swelling, of the tissue lining the sinuses. The sinuses should be filled with air. But when sinuses are blocked and get full of fluid, germs like bacteria, viruses and fungi grow and cause an infection. Sinusitis symptoms can be facial pain & pressure, nasal stuffiness, nasal discharge, loss of smell, headaches, and cough and congestion.

The inflammation that causes sinusitis is caused by an immune response.  Food allergies can cause an   inflammation response that causes symptoms of sinusitis and a runny nose. This happens because when food is eaten it gets absorbed into the body and then it circulates all throughout it. If the food eaten is an allergic food, the body will react like it is an invader. This result can be an “allergic symptom” like a runny rose or inflammation of the sinuses.   Our IgG “delayed” food allergy test should be considered when suffering from sinusitis, runny nose, mucous & congestion, since food allergy symptoms can take hours to occur.

Asthma and Food Allergies

Asthma is a condition that affects around 3-4% of the population. Asthma occurs when there are “triggers” which cause swelling of the tissues to the air passages of the lungs which causes breathing difficulties. Symptoms of asthma are wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.  Food allergies can cause immediate or delayed asthma symptoms.  An IgG delayed food allergy test is highly suggested since people with delayed food allergy reactions seem to have an almost constant inflammation which causes their chronic asthma.

Our food allergy test can tell you which food(s) may be causing your symptoms of sinusitis, asthma, breathing problems, frequent colds, constant mucous and congestion. These symptoms are all signs of an immune system that has been weakened by food allergies! Start feeling better today!

Note: If you use steroids pills or inhalers daily the test will not be accurate. The body needs to be free of steroids for 60 days. If you use a steroid inhaler once in awhile, then be off of the inhaler for at least 5 days prior to the blood draw.

Food allergy testing can show you which food(s) may be causing inflammation, which results in symptoms of sinusitis, asthma, breathing problems & a weak immune system. You can find relief with one easy test!
